1. Our Commitment to Children

Pragati Patashala aims to provide a learning environment where children are treated with dignity and respect. 3. Respect and Dignity

Every student should be treated fairly, respectfully and with consideration for their individual dignity. Behavior that threatens, humiliates, intimidates, harms or deliberately undermines a child’s safety or dignity is not consistent with the values of Pragati Patashala. Students should also be encouraged to treat teachers, staff members and fellow students with respect.

7. Bullying and Peer Behaviour

Pragati Patashala encourages students to build relationships based on respect, responsibility and consideration for others. Bullying, repeated intimidation, deliberate humiliation or harmful peer behavior should be reported to the school so that the matter can be reviewed appropriately. Students are encouraged to seek help rather than remain silent when they or another child are experiencing concerning behavior.

Technology is an important part of future-ready education, but it should be used responsibly. Students should be guided towards safe and appropriate use of digital devices, online platforms, Artificial Intelligence and other technology. Concerns involving inappropriate online communication, cyberbullying or unsafe digital behaviour should be brought to the attention of a parent, guardian, teacher or authorised school representative.

Personal information relating to children should be handled carefully. Student information, photographs, videos or other identifiable material should only be used for appropriate school-related purposes and according to applicable school consent and privacy procedures. We encourage parents and guardians to:

If a student, parent, guardian, teacher or other person has a genuine concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child connected with Pragati Patashala, the concern should be reported through the school’s designated channel.
